Cool As Ever Tech is coming up this Saturday [8/13] from 12-6pm at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. I’ve attended this event in the past, and it always stands out in my mind as one of the best tech networking events our community has to offer. There’s a great group of organizers putting this together and it’s surely worth your time to attend.

Octopus Garden Preview: SDBloggers MeetUp

SDBloggers in conjunction with BuyWithMe bring you an exclusive preview of SEA LIFE aquarium’s latest exhibit, Octopus Garden. We’d like to invite you to a hosted evening that includes drinks, appetizers, free parking, and a complimentary ticket into SEA LIFE aquarium to view the exhibit one week before the general public. There will also be surprise take-aways for anyone in attendance that night.
More on the exhibit: From octopus and cuttlefish to nautilus, these distinctive creatures have almost supernatural abilities including camouflage, ink clouds and jet propulsion to surprise and delight adults and children alike. Octopus Garden will include hands-on activities demonstrating some of the unique skills cephalopods are known for.
A few pointers for the evening. Though kids are absolutely welcome at SEA LIFE aquarium, this particular event is a viewing party for media (that means you) only. We kindly ask that you keep the kiddos at home for this event. And for those of you who can’t stand the thought of wearing anything but flip flops in the summer time, we have a request for you. We also ask that you come in business casual attire for this event, as this evening will be considered a ‘press event.’
