LG Launches Nexus 4 White; A White Swan

LG Launches Nexus 4 WhiteLG launched it’s much awaited Nexus 4 White on 29th May 2013 in Hong Kong in collaboration with Google and launching it in other countries as per their planned path towards Asia, North America, Europe and Middle East. LG is pretty sure to thud a bang with this roll-out. Earlier, before it was launched it already created curiosity among the gizmo freaks and technology news hubs that although being called a Nexus Swan or the Ivory Version of Nexus 4 it’ll still features the same Stellar Android System as the original piece, and it’s amazing combination with LG’s superb hardware design, popular Google services like Google Now, Photosphere providing an overall mesmerizing user experience and more.

The all newly refreshed Ivory Nexus 4 will manifest the same hardware as it’s processor which includes a display of 4.7 inches, a 768 x 1280 resolution (318 ppi) and powered by 1.5 GHz quad core Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon processor, along with 2 GB RAM and variations in internal memory like 8GB or 16GB similar to that of it’s Black version. According to Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG communications company, Nexus 4 will set the standard for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean smartphones and the white version will provide the same Google experience to the users in a great color option.

An 8 megapixel camera on the rear face of the phone which is capable of shooting a 1080p video at 30 frames per second, although the front camera is a weaker one which is 1.3 megapixels only. It also features the same as the earlier versions with non-removable 2100 mAh and doesn’t support LTE connectivity. The nexus 4 runs on bloatware i.e. no pre-installed skins, themes or apps from LG.

Still being on Extremely affordable side of pricing, it’s in close competition(on pricing and specifications) with HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 which already have faced competition from their predecessors HTC One X and Galaxy S3 respectively, but both of them cost considerably more than Nexus 4.

Now, after the launch, it is successfully hitting the Google play store with free white bumper, it shows a price of $299/$349, but if you find this price a little over your budget there exist certain websites who finance for your purchase with an easy monthly EMI. Now that it’s available in India from 27th June its pricing in Indian Rupees 25,990 inclusive of all taxes at Flipkart. However LG has made it clear that it won’t make phone after this one with Google this makes Nexus 4 white the Last White Swan collaboration of LG and Google; we can say for the time being, a masterpiece.
